Privacy Notice

Last Updated: 9/23/2026

1. Introduction

DataTranquil ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website datatranquil.com and use our services.

2. Information We Collect

What you give us

Only what you type into a form on this site:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Company name
  • What you tell us about your enquiry, and where you are in the process

What is recorded with a submission

  • The page the form was submitted from, and the referring page
  • A one-way hash of your IP address and your browser user-agent string, kept for abuse prevention. We do not store the IP address itself
  • A visitor identifier — persistent only if you allowed one, otherwise generated per submission and never stored on your device

Analytics — only if you turn it on

If you turn Analytics on, Google Analytics 4 records which pages are visited and basic device and approximate-location information, with IP anonymisation enabled. It is off by default and the script is never loaded until you accept, so declining means no request reaches Google at all. We never send your name, email address, phone number, or the content of a form to Google.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare’s cookieless real-user monitoring to understand aggregate page views and page-load performance. It does not use cookies, local storage, persistent visitor identifiers, or cross-site advertising. We use these metrics to maintain and improve site performance. Because it stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you, it runs for all visitors and is not placed behind the analytics choice above.

What we do not collect

We run no advertising technology and do not track your activity on any other website. If you decline analytics and never submit a form, we collect nothing about you.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve our services
  • To communicate with you about our services
  • To send marketing communications (with your consent)
  • To analyze website usage and improve user experience
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To protect our rights and prevent fraud

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process your personal data based on:

  • Consent: For marketing communications and optional cookies
  • Contract: To provide services you've requested
  • Legitimate Interests: For business operations and improvement
  • Legal Obligation: To comply with applicable laws

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or share your personal information, including for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have no advertising partners and no analytics partners.

We use VexioSales, an affiliated Data Tranquil service platform, to securely process and manage website enquiries on our behalf. VexioSales acts as a service provider: it processes submissions under our instructions and for no purpose of its own.

Beyond that, your information is disclosed only:

  • To legal or regulatory authorities where required by law
  • To an acquirer in the event of a business transfer, subject to this notice

6. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restriction: Limit how we process your data
  • Portability: Receive your data in a portable format
  • Object: Oppose certain types of processing
  • Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information is collected, and why
  • Access and delete personal information
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Because there is nothing to opt out of, we do not publish a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link — rather than offer a control that would do nothing.

To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We will verify your request against the details you gave us and respond within the period required by law.

10. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
